CENTER STAFF
The Center is composed of three full-time staff members and three W&J students. The Center is located in Fillmore Hall on W&J's campus.
Director
Dr. Corey Young

Corey Young is the Director of the Center for Energy Policy and Management. Before coming to the Center, Corey worked as the Director of Grants and Planning for a transit provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Throughout his tenure, the Center has expanded its reach in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia and grown its on-campus programming. Corey holds a master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University and a doctorate in Public Administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Program Coordinator
Doree Baumgart

Doree is a LEED Green Associate and is currently working toward her LEED Accredited Professional in Operations & Maintenance. Doree came to W&J in 2004, but has been in the collegiate realm since 1988. Doree started working for CEPM in June of 2024. Prior to her time at W&J, she worked at University of Pittsburgh as a buyer, and Administrative Assistant in Theatre Arts, Chemistry, and School of Dental Medicine.
Program Manager/Policy Analyst
Linda Ritzer

Linda Ritzer joined the Center for Energy Policy and Management in 2019 and currently works as a policy analyst in a number of energy areas. Before joining the CEPM, Linda was an editor and writer at a Western Pennsylvania newspaper. She holds a B.S. degree in journalism and economics from West Virginia University and holds several energy certifications, including LEED Green Associate.

Theodore Tolliver

Theodore Tolliver is a current sophomore at Washington & Jefferson College and is a Political Science Major with a double minor in Public Policy and Conflict & Resolution Studies. He is a Researcher & Writer at the Center for Energy and Policy Management, while also being the Resident Assistant in Fillmore Hall. Theodore has taken an interest in government and politics and intends to go into one of those fields after college.

Delainey Gray

Delainey Gray is a junior at Washington & Jefferson College and a student research assistant for the Center for Energy Policy and Management on campus. She majors in Environmental Studies and minors in Public Policy. Working for the center, she has found an interest in journalism and research within the climate sector of the media in relation to energy. She has enjoyed every opportunity with the center and hopes to continue on this path!
Student Researcher
Aiden Reams

Aiden is a senior pursuing a double major in Philosophy and Economics, with an emphasis on economic development. After graduation, Aiden plans to attend law school and pursue a career in corporate compliance, as well as environmental and financial regulation. Aiden’s academic interests include moral, ethical, and political philosophy, as well as the economies of developing nations and the unique challenges they face.
